This thing is okay. It stops on its own when it thinks the room is at the temperature you set. Other than that, it's fine, but sometimes it stops when it's still super hot in the room and nowhere near the right temperature.

Overall, this unit is really great! It blows super cold air, even on the low fan setting. Setting up the app was a bit tricky though. You need a 2.4 GHZ WiFi connection. I had to split my Xfinity modem to have both 2.4 and 5 GHZ. Once I did that through the Xfinity app, the fan's WiFi connected pretty easily to the 2.4 signal. You also need the SmartLife app. Another weird thing that happens sometimes, but not often, is that the unit will be running and then suddenly turn off the compressor and fan. It's like it turns itself off. Maybe it happens when the room reaches the cooling temperature setting. We keep ours at 60. The unit restarts pretty quickly, within 5-10 seconds, but it's still kind of strange. No way to solve it. but anyways a good unit for the price. It cools our bedroom really well measures 195 feet or so. We live in a hot and humid part of the US, and it does a great job.

When you look at how many BTUs you get for the money, this is way cheaper than other ACs. Setting up the app on my phone was a pain in the neck. But after i got it going, it worked okay.

I got this in my back room cause there was no AC there and it works great. The timer and all that stuff is super handy. You can just turn it off or let it run all the time. I saw this one a few weeks ago at Walmart for over $200 more. When i got this one, i saw how good it worked and i sent the other one back to Walmart.!! It’s super quiet, not too heavy, and easy to move around and stick in the window for the vent.

I am totally blown away by this portable AC unit! The moment I turned it on, it was like an arctic blast hit the room—seriously, it cools down the space in record time! I’ve had other units before, but none of them chilled the room this quickly or this efficiently. It’s a total lifesaver, especially during those scorching hot days. But... and it’s a BIG but... where are the instructions? I’ve never been so frustrated with a product’s lack of guidance. I had to fumble around for a while trying to figure out how to set it up properly. Once it’s up and running, it’s a dream, but getting there was a bit of a nightmare. If they could just include a clear, detailed manual, this would be the PERFECT product.

I got this for the upstairs bedroom cause it gets super hot in the summer. It’s a bit noisy but i can still sleep through it. It does a great job and there’s no leaks. It’s a bit heavy but, then again, it is an AC unit. I would buy it again.

This unit works really well. I would have given it 5 stars, but the WiFi part doesn't work. I've tried lots of different ways to connect it to my WiFi, but it just won't connect.

The air exhaust duct is kinda short compared to other brands. I had a tough time stretching it out and fitting it to the back of the unit. The Wi-Fi connection was a pain too. I couldn't get it to pair with my phone. Maybe I'll try again later. But overall, the portable A/C works pretty well. It cools my room fast. I used it in my bedroom and it dropped the temperature in just a few minutes.

This thing weighs 57 pounds. I saw in other reviews that people were struggling with the instructions. The piece that goes on the window mount has to be screwed in counter-clockwise. You'll probably need a few small screws to keep the window mount in place, just like a regular AC. It's pretty noisy, more than a regular window AC. But I don't mind because I can tune it out. If you can't do that, this might not be for you. I already have central AC, but I wanted my bedroom to be 63 degrees at night without freezing everyone else. The cooling performance is perfect. If you live in a condo with rules against window ACs, this is perfect. My bedroom is 450 square feet and it cools it down fast. The instruction manual is not that good, which is why people have trouble installing it. The unit is 57 pounds, but you don't have to lift it into the window and take it out in the fall. It's easy to uninstall and roll around. I think the manufacturer should have a customer service line to help with installation questions. Cons: Instruction manual. Noise level. Lack of customer support. No info on weight in the product description. Pros: Portable. Cools quickly. Can be used with oddly shaped windows. No ugly window AC unit. I hope that helps.

I put this unit in my sleeping room cause we don’t get cool nights in the southern U.S. This is a dual purpose air conditioner and dehumidifier and it keeps the room cool and gets rid of extra humidity. I was able to set it up all by myself in just a few minutes.
